House rules

We have a number of rules to make the holiday as pleasant as possible for everyone. As a guest of GinChalet, these rules also apply to you. General GinChalet house- and abbreviated park rules are listed here. They can also be found in each chalet together with the Terms of Use conditions.

We naturally hope that these rules are self-evident for you as a guest. If you experience inconvenience from guests who do not adhere to the rules, please let your host know or speak to the guest in question in a friendly manner.

ELECTRICITY GAS AND WATER

We want you to enjoy a comfortable holiday. In solidarity with the whole of Europe that is struggling with energy shortages, we also try to be sensible with our consumption.

You can also contribute to this by:

  • keeping windows and doors closed while the heating or ventilation is on
  • turning the heating or the radiators off in the bedroom(s) or bathroom while windows are open
  • taking short showers
  • during warm days and evenings keep the bedroom doors and curtains closed to keep the temperature down

If you leave the chalet during the day or will be home late in the evening, you should always close the windows and lock the doors. Windows on tilt or open - can attract the wrong people.

SMOKING

Smoking is only allowed outside. Far away from open windows and doors. There is a container with sand for cigarette butts. Remember to dispose of the butts before departure!

DRIVING & PARKING

Each holiday home has its own parking space. A second car, trailer or visiting car can be parked in the parking lot.

Unloading is allowed, then please park in assigned places.

  • At the barrier/port, outgoing traffic has priority over incoming traffic
  • The maximum speed in the park is 5 km per hour

CHARGING ELECTRIC CAR

An electric car may not be charged from the power of your holiday home. The nearest public charging station can be found at De Veluwse Hoevegaerde.

DOGS

Dog(s) are welcome in chalet Damrak, where the dog can run freely in the enclosed garden. In the pet-free chalets, letting a dog or cat in is not allowed. Please keep following in mind if you bring a dog:

  • Outside the garden the dog must be on a leash
  • The forest is within walking distance, where your dog can also do it's business
  • If your dog has done it's business in the garden, we expect you to clean it up
  • We would like to ask you to prevent nuisance to local residents and guests due to barking
  • Please collect dog poop bags in a bigger bag; before disposing of in the container

Please bring your own blankets for protection of the sofa/beds as dogs are not welcome on the furniture.

KEYS & PARK ENTRANCE

We would like to receive the key(s) back when you check out. Costs will be charged if the key(s), park card or remote are lost or not left after at the house after check-out. It is not permitted to give keys to others for use.

BBQ

In addition:

  • it is mandatory to have a bucket with 10 liters of water within reach
  • you may only use electricity, gas, charcoal and briquettes as fuel for the barbecue
  • the park manager may prohibit the use of a barbecue in special circumstances (for example extreme drought)
