Loopuyt - Modern chalet on the Veluwe

Ginchalet Loopuyt is a beautiful cottage with a lovely, bright living room. Ideal for 2 to 4 people. Loopuyt is located in the neat De Oude Driest Recreation Park in Krachtighuizen, 250 metres from the Veluwe forest. The perfect base for cycling and walking tours.

There is a covered shed for your bicycles or to shelter from the sun. Of course, we also have outdoor seating with a parasol.

The chalet itself was renovated in 2022 with a new bathroom and kitchen. A cosy and tastefully decorated chalet equipped with all conveniences for four people. The living room itself is spacious. One bedroom has a 160x200 cm box spring bed and a wardrobe. The second bedroom has two 80x200 cm box spring beds. Upon arrival, the beds are made and a set of towels is provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a combi-oven/microwave, fridge/freezer, hand mixer, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine and kettle.

Loopuyt has a SMART TV with the KPN network at your disposal with Chromecast and Netflix built in. Your own login details are required for Netflix and other apps.

All our chalets are for recreational use ONLY. Commuting is NOT allowed due to local rules. Furthermore, they are family homes and cannot be rented for (bachelor) parties and/or similar events.

ALSO GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

• There is NO reception at the parks. Your host will welcome you at the park and be there for departure
• There are CCTV cameras at all entrances to the parks
• Our chalets are non-smoking!
• It is always possible to order extra bed linen and towels during your stay. Costs may apply
• There is a NO flight zone above the parks due to privacy
• Open fire is always prohibited
• We will collect tourist taxes (per person per night) and a deposit €200,- prior to arrival
• Swimmingpool (Bungalowpark De Kern) is only open second week of June and 31 August.

ARRIVAL BY CAR: Navigation address is Batos'weg 11C. Entrance is Recreatiepark De Oude Driest.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: It is not entirely possible to reach the house by public transport.

BUS STOP: Nearest bus stop is Oude Garderenseweg , Putten. From here it is a 17 minute walk.

TRAIN STATION PUTTEN: Stationsstraat 127, 3881AC Putten

AMSTERDAM: Amsterdam can be reached by train in just over an hour. Park for free at Putten train station.

AMSTERDAM PARK & RIDE: Park your car quickly and easily at the IJ-oever Centrum parking garage. From the parking garage you can walk to the Amsterdam tram stop, Muziekgebouw Bimhuis , within 2 minutes . From this tram stop, tram 26 leaves for Central Station every 5 minutes.

There’s a local week market in the centre on Wednesdays from 8:00 – 13:00 where you can find fresh fruit, veggies and local specialties.

Located around the Fontanusplein and Kerkplein, it serves as a social and commercial hub for residents and visitors, featuring both food and non-food stalls from local vendors.

De Putten Brocante Route

This is a charming trail past a collection of brocante and vintage shops spread around the village and nearby countryside. You can follow the route by car or bicycle and start at any participating address.

Curiosa Batos Erf - Bato'sweg 15 is next to Recreatiepark De Oude Driest.

The route is usually organised on the second Saturday of each month, typically from 10:00 to 16:00.
