Hermit - Sunny cottage at the Veluwe

Ginchalet Hermit is a beautiful cottage with a spacious living room. Ideal for two people. It is located on the quiet and neat Recreatiepark De Oude Driest in Krachtighuizen, 250m from the Veluwe forrest. The perfect base for cycling and walking tours.

There is a covered shed for your bicycles or to shelter from the sun. Of course we also have an outdoor seating area with parasol.

The chalet itself was renovated in 2021 with a new bathroom. A cozy and tastefully furnished chalet with all amenities for two people. Living room itself is quite spacious for such a small chalet. The small bedroom has a box spring of 160x200 and an open closet.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a combination oven/microwave, fridge/freezer, Senseo Switch coffee maker (pods and filter coffee) and a kettle.

The cottage is intended for recreational use ONLY. Commuting is NOT allowed due to local rules.

• Arrival between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM and departure no later than 10:00 AM.
• There is NO (park) reception. Always call your host!
• Smoking is absolutely NOT allowed in the chalet!
• BBQ is only allowed when there is no drought and with a bucket of water nearby
• Stay is minimum 3 nights and maximum 3 weeks
• Beds are made upon arrival
• There is 1 set of basic towels (1 large (70*140cm) and 1 small (50*100cm) per person) and bath and kitchen linen package (bath mat, guest towel and 1 kitchen, 2 tea and 3 dish towels) ready upon arrival
• An electric car may not be charged from the power of your holiday home
• Free parking in front of the house for 1 car
• Free WIFI
• There are CCTV cameras at all entrances to the park

We are careful with our belongings. We expect this from our guests too!

ARRIVAL BY CAR: Navigation address is Oude Garderenseweg 26, Putten. Opposite this address is the entrance to Bungalow Park De Kern. Access only with a pass.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: It is not entirely possible to reach the house by public transport.

BUS STOP: Nearest bus stop is Oude Garderenseweg , Putten. From here it is a 17 minute walk.

TRAIN STATION PUTTEN: Stationsstraat 127, 3881AC Putten

AMSTERDAM: Even Amsterdam can be reached by train in just over an hour. Park for free at Putten train station.

AMSTERDAM PARK & RIDE: Park your car quickly and easily at the IJ-oever Centrum parking garage. From the parking garage you can walk to the Amsterdam tram stop, Muziekgebouw Bimhuis , within 2 minutes . From this tram stop, tram 26 leaves for Central Station every 5 minutes.
